From Indiana Tours Valencia, today October 29th, we want to pay tribute to all the victims of the Dana, and express our sincere respect and affection to those who are still living with the consequences of that October 29th, 2024, when the DANA hit Valencia leaving behind an indelible mark. Today, October 29th is officially decreed in the Valencian Community as a Day in memory of the families and persons who were victims of the Dana, an official day of mourning in the three provinces: Castellón, Valencia and Alicante.
Today we gratefully share with you the Certificate of Appreciation awarded to Indiana Tours Valencia by Anais Darden, known as Pluto's Mom, Respectful Parenting Consultant and International Cooperant for Children's Rights.
This recognition comes after the solidarity action we carried out together with Pluto's Mom, from Respectful Parenting, through a charity tour in favor of the victims of the DANA, aimed at supporting the psychological and emotional health of the families of Ground Zero.
We deeply appreciate this gesture and we are honored to have been able to contribute, from our essence and purpose, to give back a smile and a little breath to those who needed it most.
One year later, Valencia is still rebuilding. Not only materially, but also emotionally.
The DANA hit hard thousands of families, local businesses and the tourism sector itself.
But it also reminded us of something essential: the strength of the Valencian people, the ability to stand up, to reach out and to continue creating spaces where hope reigns.
At Indiana Tours Valencia, we firmly believe in the power of culture, education and shared adventure as tools for healing in difficult times like these.
That is why we continue to work with the same passion to offer accessible, inclusive and family-friendly experiences that allow children, youth and adults to smile, discover, learn and connect.
Because, even in the most difficult moments, making the eyes of Valencian children shine is a reminder that life and illusion go on.
🤍Thank you, Anais, and thank you to all the people who joined this solidarity cause.
Today, more than ever, Valencia remembers, feels and moves forward.
